The weather gods have been kind to the inter club series, unlike some of our other events. There was a fantastic turnout and some good times. The fastest club on the day was Cambridge Tri in 2:07:21, with Newmarket Cycling & Tri Club only 2 mins 46 seconds down, and Team Cambridge 10 mins 49 seconds behind Newmarket.
The overall results are: Newmarket Cycling & Tri Club won in 5:42:29, second Cambridge Tri - 5:57:56 followed by Team Cambridge with 6:09:18. Congratulations to Newmarket a great team effort. Check the Results page for full details.
Thanks to Jake for the pictures - don't forget the Tour of Britain is spending a few days in the region on Thursday and Friday. Thursday's stage is a time trial at Clacton and and Friday a full road stage from Newmarket to Aldeburgh. Why not pop down and enjoy the spectacle.
