Congratulations to Ralph Hancock in becoming Club Handicap 25 Champion.

A quick reminder the next of our monthly Saturday Club run will be on Saturday 8th July. All are welcome to join us, we set off at 9 am from the Perne Road Scout HQ

Congratulations to Charles Tallack in becoming Club 25 Champion on one of the hottest days this year. It did seem the hot weather did deter some riders from taking part.

Like the first round of the Inter Club event the second round hosted by Newmarket Cycling & Tri Club on 14th June, saw more fabulous weather - phew, maybe a bit too good! By all accounts it was an eventful night and in the end only 1 rider from each club counted towards the overall results. The results on the night are Newmarket Cycling & Tri Club 20:25; Cambridge Tri 23:31; Team Cambridge 24:26.
The overall results are: Newmarket Cycling & Tri Club lead with 3:32:22; second is Team Cambridge - 3:48:22; closly followed by Cambridge Tri - 3:50:33. Everything is still to fight for in the final round on 3rd September. Check the Results page

As with previous weeks there are new parking arrangements events on the F2/10 courses. Parking and after event coffees will be on the old road near the roundabout. The start and finishes remain the same, but take care when waiting in the start area. Please be considerate and keep to the side of the road and taking care not to block the way of other cyclists using the cycle lane.

The 2017 evening events start this coming Wednesday 12 April. Just a quick word of caution for the Newton circuit (E2/07). The second section of road descending into Newton now has speed humps along it. They come in pairs (one in each carriageway) but don't cover the full width of the road. Riders please take care in passing them.
Check the Events page for full details of the programme.

Now the clocks have changed the Monday evening ride-outs have restarted. They leave at 7:15pm from the Perne Road Scout HQ. The ride lasts about an hour followed by a cup of tea and a chat. Everyone is welcome to join us.
